UltraClear S.S.T. Professional Strength What is it? SST is the ideal solution for large ponds. SST clarifies pond water throughout all problem areas, including the top and bottom of the pond. SST Professional Strength consist of specialized bacteria and bacterial nutrients in a slow release formula. The bacteria and bacterial nutrients are contained in a cloth bag with a 12 foot tether attached to the bag. The product package is designed so that you can toss the bag into a specific area of the pond and secure it into position for removal or relocation. The SST Professional Strength bag will be effective for four weeks. After that, the bag should be removed from the pond and discarded. Placement in pond! Choose the site or zone in the pond where the clarity is the most severe. Position the tether line to a secure point near the edge of the pond. Use a rock, stake, tree or something heavy to secure the line near the edge of the pond. Simply toss the bag into the area or zone to be treated. Make sure that the outer plastic bag is removed before the product is tossed into the pond for treatment. The SST Professional Strength bag will take up to three to four days in the pond before it completely hydrates and then submerges. Until then, it may float on the surface. It will eventually sink and remain submerged. How much water will SST Professional Strength treat? Each bag of SST will treat up to 10,000 gallons for a month before it needs to be replaced. If you have 10,000 gallons or less, simply place SST Professional Strength in the worst area. If the pond is greater than 10,000, use multiple bags.
