Using
fish pond liners when creating your own fish pond is very important,
because it keeps the water from draining away. When creating your own
fish pond, there are several steps that you need to follow, but we will
be focusing mainly on the layout of the fish pond liner.
After you have dug your hole for your fish pond and made sure that
the edges are level, it is time to put in the fish pond liner. First,
unroll the liner and lay it out in the sun to heat it. This will make
the fish pond liner more flexible and easier to lie out. Make sure that
you have lain sand about two inches deep in the bottom of the hole as
this helps with drainage.
Lay your fish pond liner in the hole, positioning the liner until it
is correct. Fill your pond with water and cut away the extra liner.
Be sure to keep the extra pieces as you might need them to patch the
liner at another time. Using these tips, it should be very easy to lay
your fish pond liner.
