There are hundreds of different types of pond
fish. Choosing the pond fish you want for your water garden is a
personal decision, but one factor must be taken into account: determine
how big your pond is and how many fish it can safely hold. Larger fish
require more room. Don’t try and squeeze a bunch of large fish
in a small pond: they will likely die.

or more exotic fish. Remember that exotic fish sometimes require special
care and they don’t always agree with other fish, so research
before you purchase. For a first time pond owner, goldfish are always
a popular and safe choice because they will survive through just about
anything. Koi fish, a type of carp, are also very popular because of
their unique beauty.
